The second part of the Call of Duty series was a continuation of the story of the battles on different fronts of World War II. Infiniti Ward re-commissioned the game, and Activision released the game for the PC platform. Call of Duty 2 or COD 2 is the first numbered game in the series to hit consoles and was released for the seventh-generation Xbox 360 console. His career at Infiniti Ward, as a stage designer, was a key and important member of the project. Call of Duty 2 had a storytelling perspective of four soldiers, one in the Soviet Red Army, one in the United States, and one in the British Army, with a total of twenty-seven stages in three story lines.
Most of the game's elements adhered to the previous episode, and it saw a lot of improvements. Call of Duty 2 was first made with Infiniti Studio's dedicated graphics engine called IW 2.0. One of the outstanding features of this engine was the simulation of smoke, the creation of stormy weather and heavy monsoon rains, which has a direct effect on the gameplay and design of the previous stages. The multiplayer part of Call of Duty 2 was very rich in its time and on the pre-launch platform it was able to support 64 players simultaneously. Of course, this number was limited to 8 players in the Xbox version. Various and common modes such as Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Search & Destroy, Capture the Flag and Headquarters were so well done in the multiplayer section that even for many years after the game was released, various competitions were held based on them. COD 2 is the most popular game at the time of the release of the Xbox 360 console, which will record 200,000 copies sold in its first week of release. By July 2006, the game had sold more than 1.4 million copies on the Xbox 360 console alone, and by November 2013, that number had risen to 6 million.
